Wounds need time to heal. Scars disappear over time-or they don’t. Whether they do or not, God made you beautiful. Your wounds don’t turn God off. He knows why they’re there, and He’s committed to causing them to work together for your good.

We’re in the hands and heart of a loving God–being fashioned for His glory. He’s perfecting every detail of our existence. Sometimes He’s pruning things off of us. At other times, He may be grafting things in. Our job is to stay deeply rooted as He accomplishes this work.
He understands our capacity better than anyone and the fruit we can produce. He knows how and who our lives will impact. He simply asks us to trust Him and to believe that He’ll faithfully follow through on His Word.
